Time Stopper

        Have you asked for time to stop

        Have you stood still

        Is it often the case that we are too busy with what is not essential

        A life well lived is what we crave

        And yet we stand still living life

 

        Can we consider doing more for less

        Can we do multiple things at ones

        Is it often the case that we actually do less the more we do more

        A life focused is better served

        And yet we try more for less

 

        Would you consider then a time stopper

        Would you venture to seek to halt

        Is it hard to stop and reflect     

        A life discerned, a life with a purpose

        And yet we do not bother to pause

 

        Until the time stopper comes 

        Then we pause

        Then we have no more

        Then there is life
